| With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Victor Yalom, PhD, on February 26, 2026. We were notified of Victor’s passing through public statements shared by his family here. Victor Yalom, PhD, founder of Psychotherapy.net and son of the late psychiatrist and author Dr. Irvin Yalom, made lasting contributions to psychotherapy education by preserving and sharing the work of many influential clinicians. The psychodrama community is especially grateful for his role in documenting Zerka Moreno through three filmed interviews and a filmed psychodrama directed by Zerka Moreno—an enduring legacy that continues to educate and inspire future generations of psychodramatists. Many members of the ASGPP community also knew Victor personally through conferences, trainings, and collaborations over the years. We remember him with gratitude for his commitment to advancing psychotherapy education and preserving the legacy of our field.
