Queering Leadership and Exploring Gender Expansiveness in Organizational Life
Friday, April 11, 2025, to Sunday, April 13, 2025
The conference will be held on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Group relations conferences offer experiential learning about complex group dynamics, revealing some of the more hidden, unconscious aspects of power, authority, leadership, followership, and the impact of our multiple identities to which we belong. Participants often experience transformative “ah ha” moments that change not only the way they see the world but also the way they experience their roles within it (i.e., they often report feeling more empowered to effect change, increased clarity about their roles in life, among other transformations). Through awareness of “here and now” experiences in both small and large groups, they learn about tasks, authority, roles, boundaries, and leadership. Ultimately, these conferences translate classroom concepts into real-world relational experiences, broadening participants’ learning in diverse group contexts.
